In terms of the introduction and renewal of imaging equipment, our radiology department has always been the "vanguard" in Zhejiang Province, and the number of patients received and checked each year is far ahead of other brother hospitals in Zhejiang Province. In 1983, our department introduced the first CT diagnostic apparatus in Zhejiang Province, which brought revolutionary progress to neuroimaging. As of June 2007, our department has 3 high-performance CT diagnostic devices (16 rows of CT × 2 sets, 4 rows of CT × 1 set). In 2006, there were 57,402 CT inspections. In 1991, our department purchased the first magnetic resonance diagnostic instrument in Zhejiang Province, and currently has 3 sets of high field strength, superconducting magnetic resonance (1.0T×1 set; 1.5T×1 set; 3.0T×1 set), 2006 MRI examinations reached 37,757 people. In addition, our department is the first radiology department in Zhejiang Province to purchase CR (Computer Digital Photography), mammography diagnostic equipment, and oral panoramic photography diagnostic equipment. At present, our department has a complete range of imaging equipment to provide comprehensive and advanced medical imaging examination and diagnosis for the clinic.
