According to the official website of Fudan University, the largest Fudan Zhangjiang international brain imaging center in Asia (hereinafter referred to as the center) was inaugurated on July 30.
The center is jointly built by Fudan University and Zhangjiang laboratory, with a total construction area of 3000 square meters and a joint investment of 400 million yuan. Based on brain measurement, the center will establish a research-based non-invasive scanning hardware system center with ultra-high spatial and temporal resolution and the ability to analyze fine brain structure and function, which is the most advanced in the world and the largest in Asia.
At present, the center has a complete set of magnetic resonance imaging equipment from small animals to human body, including an ultra-high gradient field strength 3T Connectome magnetic resonance system, a high field 7T human magnetic resonance system, two clinical high-end 3T magnetic resonance systems, an 11.7t high field small animal magnetic resonance system, and a series of near-infrared light, EEG and other real-time brain function monitoring systems, together with DC stimulation, transcranial magnetic stimulation, ultrasound brain stimulation and other brain regulation systems, the center will also rely on Shanghai brain and brain like market in the future We will build other high-end equipment platforms for brain function measurement, such as magnetoencephalography.
