Shanghai Mental Health Center

 The Shanghai Mental Health Center was founded in 1935. It was formerly known as Shanghai Puci Nursing Home. It is located in the southwestern suburbs of Shanghai (now Minhang District). It was constructed by the philanthropist Lu Bohong and managed by the church. It was the largest and most well-equipped in the Far East. One of the psychiatric specialist hospitals. In May 2006, the Shanghai Mental Health Center became the affiliated hospital of Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine.

 The Xuhui District of the Shanghai Mental Health Center is located at No. 600 Wanping South Road; the Minhang District is located at No. 3210 Humin Road. The Shanghai Mental Health Center has complete clinical departments and strong technical capabilities. It mainly diagnoses and treats patients with schizophrenia, mood disorders, organic mental disorders, children, adolescents and elderly mental disorders, neurotic disorders and other mental disorders and drug-dependent patients . The center has general psychiatric departments and clinical departments for aging, rehabilitation, clinical psychology, children, infection, and voluntary detoxification. There are 1878 approved beds, and 2141 beds are actually open.

 The Shanghai Psychological Counseling and Treatment Center, located at No. 604 Lingling Road, mainly provides psychological counseling services for patients with various mental disorders and those who are suffering from psychological distress, and carries out various psychological treatments. "Shanghai Mental Health Hotline (64383562)" is one of the first hotlines established in Shanghai. Since December 2008, it has merged with the "Shanghai Public Health Public Welfare Telephone (12320 Shanghai)" into the "Shanghai Psychological Assistance Hotline (Shanghai 12320-5)" to continue to provide Shanghai residents with psychological crisis intervention and mental health promotion services.
