The First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University was established in 1949 on the original site of the Garrison District Hospital of Harbin City. After nearly 70 years of development, it has grown from a small hospital with 230 beds and 395 employees to a total construction area of more than 600,000 square meters, with a total of 6496 beds.
