Shanghai Changhai Hospital is located on the coast of the East China Sea and on the banks of the Huangpu River. It was founded in July 1949 and was originally called the Affiliated Hospital of the People’s Medical College of East China Military Region. It was renamed the Affiliated Hospital of the Second Military Medical University in July 1951 and became the Second Military Medical in September 1958 The First Affiliated Hospital of the University was established in 2017 as the First Affiliated Hospital of Naval Military Medical University.
